April 11, 2021 - Russk. Andrea opened up at her house the night we had Indian food. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've had this wine. Some of the best expression of sour, earthy, savory, carbonic Cabernet franc, with slight effervescence. Very little sweet fruit. Some palate cleansing bitterness in the finish. If you're expecting a lot of bubbles you will be disappointed. Doesn't bother me . Hugely interesting wine. Get more in the high 20s from garagiste

December 4, 2020 - Crown cap sealed. This releases a bit of captured CO2 on opening. Just a hint of Brett scent, sour cherry and chalk. Subtle floral note similar to Gamay is noted. Rich, dark purple color with no fading and good density on the palate. Ripe red plum flavor, chalky minerality and a bit of grip on the finish. The tannins are fully ripe and present. This has a solid acid back bone to age on. While natural in vinification and subject to the typical issues with natural wine, if kept in a cold cellar, this will age for many years, especially with a crown cap. 90 points now with room for future improvement.

November 17, 2019 - Almost lambic like. Weird and phenomenal.

November 26, 2018 - On prising off the metal cap there was a loud hiss and gasses followed. On pouring the wine, it was very fizzy and took a long time to settle down. It was quite a surprise to find it like this and did put me off a little. After the fizzing subsided I took a sip but it was very acidic and harsh. I subsequently read other reviews and see the high score. I love Cabernet Franc but this was not a wine for me. After a couple of hours with it still as harsh I threw the remainder away. I decided not to give it a score as it is clearly an acquired taste. If I did score it, it would have been in the mid 70s.
