  August 17, 2016 - Very good bottle craft, nice presentation. Opaque at its core, garnet in color, clear but not crystalline. Nose was nice and as expected of a fresh Cali cab, black fruits and cherry, with some interesting, if subtle complexity.
  On PnP the nose did not transfer to the palate. The wine was clean, astringent, slightly acidic, there was some heat from alcohol (this surprised me), and nothing particularly vivid in flavor.
  After a few hours the wine warmed up and opened up, notes of cherry were more recognizable, a little black current and greenness began to appear. Overall my nose liked this wine much better than my palate. With a little coaxing of time, decanting, maybe a Venturi, this wine may become much more impressive then my experience and first impression.
