August 18, 2016 - Best bottle (@ Weindorf Kirchheim): Medium garnet red with some fine sediment. At first nose was closed, opened up over time, I guess it still needs to be decanted. Classical Barolo, lots of pressure, powerful tannin and high acidity still beautifully integrated, still lots of fruit, long finish. Maybe a bit past peak, but still lovely to drink.
