January 3, 2021 - Seriously delicious. Pours like diluted balsamic vinegar with an iodine rim. Coats the glass with viscous iron/blood legs. Terrific nasal assault of creamy cassis liqueur, mocha and dried herbs. The palate is dizzy with well-integrated dark red fruits, coffee, tabac, nicoise olives and a sage-y dryness. Absolute enjoyment. Went well with pan-seared striploins and a chanterelle-shallot reduction. Sadly only one more bottle left. Very proud to call this B.C. wine.

August 28, 2020 - A new neighbor unfamiliar with BC wines invited me to a lamb dinner. Thought BC wines can't rate against Cali. This shocked him!

Still silky & smooth. Great nose of ripe fruit - cherry, strawberries, black fruit. Evolved over 4 hours delightfully.

& yes...it went really well with the roasted lamb. (& mint jelly)

April 22, 2020 - This is phenomenal for what it is. A Bordeaux style blend of grapes from a single nascent vineyard in a semi-remote valley in the interior of a Canadian province. Such middling expectations, and yet such great reward upon decanting and ultimately devouring this lovely wine. Happy Earth Day indeed! Glass-staining purple-black juice with massive aromatics - think a coulis of black currants, dark cherries and dried figs, blended with liquorice, salted dark chocolate and dried sage. Medium-plus body, great length. Top door integration of tannins, fruit and acid. No perceptive heat, nothing out of place. Great little grabby tannic bite at the end but that just means high quality protein is required. We had striploins medium-rare with roasted shallots & portobello mushrooms. Divine.

September 13, 2019 - No words...so good!!!! Music to my taste buds. It gets so much better with each passing year!

One of my favorites - I pull out when I want to impress. Smooth...with nice fruit, that’s not too overpowering.

One of the best the offerings of the OK.

October 19, 2018 - Outstanding! This has aged nicely and is absolutely delightful now.

A seamless Meritage blend - with aromas of cassis, blueberry & vanilla.

It now delivers buckets of luscious red berry flavors to the palate-tannin is well integrated, you don't notice them.

The finish is persistent & long with lingering minerality. Superb.
