April 11, 2024 - Needs a proper decant. Upon opening it was extremely subdued. Taste was faded but very good. After about 30 minutes opened up and was very expressive and balanced. Drank about a month ago so specifics evade me, but I will remember to decant for a bit next time.

June 23, 2023 - Peranakan food at Linda’s Table (Linda’s Table Private Dining): Impressions. Lovely aromas, tropical fruits, palate was mineral with beautiful precision yet sufficient weight to balance. Drinking nicely but would benefit from a few more years of bottle age.

May 28, 2023 - This was so darn good - loaded with youthful, mineral-laden fruit. Nice matchstick, chalk and mineral complexity. Long and pure.

    July 21, 2022 -

April 29, 2022 - Nose - slightly tropical, intermixed with smoke. A touch reductive
Mouth - very pretty wine; made in a reductive style. Caramel inflected, good acidity. Made in a very modern and trendy reductive style- perhaps an example of defensive winemaking? The only reason I mention is because the ‘15 Lamy-Cailleret C-M Les Caillerets that we had next to it was richer and fresher simultaneously.

April 2, 2022 - Tasting evening with Bas en Lennart (Home, Utrecht): Great, sharp, focused, complex Chassagne, still very very primary. Medium intensity on the nose with that typical CM aroma’s, lovely reductive flintiness, citronella, peach, apricot, floral notes, orange peel, smokey, vanilla, hazelnut, butterscotch, lactic notes, toast. No tertiary notes yet after 7 years. High acidity, medium+ body, medium+ palate intensity, very, very long finish with toast, nuts, smoke. Almost too young at this stage, but lovely, lovely bottle

September 11, 2021 - There's a natural wine profile with hint of sour aromatics and bright palate. Delicious.

November 25, 2018 - Mostly Magnum Holiday Celebration (San Francisco): Magnum. Yellow. Deep pear fruit with some wood framing. Rich but not overly so for the vintage. Very good.

June 11, 2018 - Janselijn Wines & Verkerk Wines Burgundy v. Tuscany Tasting (Restaurant The Lobby Fizeaustraat, Hotel V, Amsterdam, NL): Trade tasting, brief note. More finesse than the Champ Gain which preceded it, even if there is quite a lot of oak, which is slightly resinous on the finish. Should come together beautifully in 2-3 years. Well made (by Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, Caroline's husband).
