Community Tasting Notes 1

August 1, 2008 - This has some time to go, especially if the 1996 is anything to go by. It lacks the richness of that wine, but it has greater freshness and length, with delicious Sémillon fruit. This wine clearly comes from makers who know how to make great dry white wine. This is good on its own, but would surely match a lot of dishes with flying colours. Straw-yellow, limpid and more complex than its older sibling. Should improve.
