September 9, 2016 - Off the grid, organic mom-and-pop operation - solar and geothermal powered. Natural yeasts only. Fruit is 90% destalked. This was a bit volatile when tasted at the winery, but no such worries with this bottle. A lighter-bodied style (only 11% ABV), with great aromatic presence and lovely sweet/tart cherry fruit on the palate. Just a hint of old wood and the barest hint of tannin. Quite persistent for all its lightness, and an excellent match with food. A discovery.
