April 12, 2024 - Color is deepest magenta showing no signs of aging
Nose is asphalt, plum, black pepper, bitey..
Flavor is plum, blackberry, dark cherry, slight licorice

March 26, 2024 - This is getting there I think. 1 hr decant. Not enough to shed all the fat. But over another 1-2hr drinking window it was getting there. Fruit, fresh, tannins there. Need to round off a bit.

February 2, 2024 - Drank at dinner with friends at Vito's. Decanted x 30 minutes. Tannins still very firm. Softened over an hour or so. Dark berries on the nose plus leather and cocoa. Medium-long finish. Overall a fantastic Cali Syrah!

January 3, 2024 - Others say this has years left in it - I agree, I even think it’s too early to drink it. If you’re going to, give it plenty of air, at least a couple of hours. It will still be slightly purple. But lovely to drink, with great texture and length.
