November 1, 2021 - I am such a huge fan of Paul Hobbs Cabernet Sauvignon. This is powerful with bold fruits. I'm enjoying this now on the second night and it hasn't lost a step. High quality all the way around. Open and accessible now with about a 2 hour decant.

April 19, 2020 - This bottle is the tale of two different experiences. The palate is STUNNING!!! Smooth, rich, opulent and absolutely sexy. Black fruit, licorice and menthol with a second gear that the mid-palate brings in to give a bit of mint.
But, dear God, what happened to the nose??? Even after an hour we continued to get this dusty undertone on the nose that held back the overall impression. The bottle was not corked. Maybe just a variant?1 person found this helpful Comments (2) -

January 30, 2019 - Needs some time to open up. 6-8 hour decant would certainly help. Excellent structure. Big, deep, rich, flamboyant.
