February 21, 2021 - Coming into its own. Many good years ahead for this one!

July 1, 2020 - Exceeded expectations as our last bottle was lackluster in flavor and thin in body, this certainly was neither. Medium-full body with lithe acidity and that interesting raisin note I love about aging Italian wines. Only barely middle-aged at this point; should hold and improve in cool cellars.

September 18, 2019 - Surprised to realize it's only been two years since we last opened a bottle. This wine is in full secondary development and substantially more mature than expected with raisin-y dried fruit and resolved tannins. We'll drink ours over the next year.

October 18, 2017 - This is a superb Tuscan red with bags of character, and noticeable, though well-integrated oak.
