March 10, 2024 - After a 4 hour decant, enjoyed with our home crafted baby backs and rack of lamb. Were the baby backs too spicey? The wine was very good, but I guess our expectations exceeded. Not sure time is the solution here.

October 25, 2021 - A private dinner (Restaurant d'Oude Schuur, Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium): Tasted blind. Ripe but fresh black cherries, glossy, peppery and floral, youthful and tough, fresh and grippy tannins, relatively slender, clean and precise, hint of tar, develops a lovely creaminess, excellent resonance and length. I guessed Vérité at the very last moment. Excellent but not otustanding.

December 30, 2019 - The wine is extra dark, full body, dense, with perfumes of graphite and chocolate, the finish goes and goes for ever. I can see this wine getting much better in 5+ years but it's hard to resist drinking now. 95+ PTS in my scale.
