December 23, 2022 - Birthyear bottle. well stored, Cork crumbled, drank well - drank like a Bordeaux that saw heavier than usual oak. Not a blow away but a solid wine!

June 26, 2021 - on the pnp into decanter this had some weird stuff going on (shrill? / weird flavors?), to the point where I thought it might have gone bad, then after three hours it was a fine, full bodied cab with a healthy amount of acidity and yet some bold straight fwd fruit (purple?)... even better and more nuanced on night two... still going (tho a bid on the down slope) when I tasted a few mins ago on afternoon three... pretty good stuff, hadn't heard of this wine and bought it cuz I love Cali cabs from '76 to '99 era

Delicious; notes of plum with a savory mint side. Color was still a deep purple; I would have expected greater bricking for a 12 year old wine.
People talk about "old school Napa cab."

July 29, 2018 - My last bottle of this beauty. Still some dark fruit left but mostly sweet integrated oak and tannins, a touch of sour cherry, a little earth. Classic.
