May 29, 2016 - Drank out of a magnum, and it's probably just past its prime and starting to coast. A lot of the fruit Parkhill found distasteful has dropped out, leaving a pleasantly complex wine with dark fruit, cigar, leather, and spice notes along with soft but plentiful tannins. Finish is long, lingering, and slightly hot (13.5% ABV).
