  January 28, 2024 - Last bottle from a half case; has improved further over the past few years and become more Burgundian. Good raspberry and liquorice nose. Complex and integrated flavours, sweet, clean, well balanced fruit. Tannins are deceivingly soft - there's more there than immediately obvious. Very moreish. Has been drinking perfectly for several years and there's little or no sign of decline. Good QPR.

  December 6, 2023 - Lots of sweet red fruit notes, with reasonable complexity. But the barnyard note is quite persistent.
  
  Better with food. This is at peak now, but can last for a few more years in the cellar.

  October 4, 2022 - Massively improved since last tasting in 2020, much more precise and balanced but still bursting with fruit within that defined structure, and with a pleasant long lasting afterglow.

  May 29, 2022 - Drinking beautifully in 2022. Quite a perfumed nose with aniseed and berry fruit notes, and just a hint of ‘barnyard’. Impressive balance and length on the palate, with a great integration of ripe raspberry and blackcurrant fruit flavours around a tannic backbone that is reasonably soft, but provides ample structure. This is the last example in my cellar, which is a shame, as there should be a good 3-5 years of development left in this wine. Best Marlborough Pinot I have sampled in some time!

  April 11, 2021 - Second bottle from a half case; has improved a lot over the past year and become more Burgundian. Good raspberry and liquorice nose. Lightish colour, complex and integrated flavours, sweet, clean, well balanced fruit. Tannins are deceivingly soft - there's more there than immediately obvious. Very moreish. Drinking perfectly now.
