September 9, 2017 - Tastes almost exactly as you would expect. Not particularly concentrated but totally authentic in a soft ready to drink way. Quite impressed this 2013 is still youthful.Very dark purple but not opaque color. Some weedy, stemmy aromas with the plum, cherry and blackberry fruit. Not much tannin. Very lively, youngish, appropriate acid with still some maturing secondary brown spice and road tar flavors. Only medium bodied but very much complete without any dominating flavors. Some rustic earthy flavored with blackberry on the finish.
