  December 20, 2021 - Wow. this wine is at a great point: fabulous now; seems like it will improve for at least a few more years. More like a CS than a CF on the nose, a bit less so on the palate. Tannins are tame but still there; a bit of green pepper but a lot more red fruit, leather, etc.

  December 23, 2019 - Paired perfectly w/grilled salmon & artic char. Nice acidity, spice & some pepper. Will buy more of this pleasant red wine from FLX.

  July 4, 2019 - had with spicy baby back ribs and it was a big hit. Still quite young with bright fruit and good acid. probably too bold to just sip but pairs well with food for sure. Cherry with hints of mushroom on the nose, well integrated palate with more red fruit balanced with acid, hints of green pepper, tannin (not over powering). Very nice overall but still quite young.
