  April 29, 2022 - Clear, deep ruby.
  
  Nose is complex, salty and rich. Powerful, pure black fruit, tree bark, chocolate and green pepper.
  
  Lovely textural presence on the palate. Firm, fine tannins.
  
  Flavours of pure, ripe black fruit, chocolate, mint, sage and coffee beans.
  
  Excellent length. Great wine, still young.

  May 8, 2018 - Terroir-istes International - USA - California, Napa South (Cape Town Law offices): (Tasted Blind): Opaque, with a black colour transitioning to a deep red-black rim. The aromas of sour black cherry stalk, blackcurrant, graphite, cigar, cassis, and stewed fruits were lifted.
  The entry has a melted chocolate texture joined by a touch of spice, cedarwood and tobacco.
  Firm, powdery tannins supported by a fresh lemon-edged acidity give a grip and structure, although the wine feels altogether extracted. A long finish redeems what is a powerful, sturdy wine.
  Sourced from blocks 25 years of average age on rocky soils and loamy soils.

  April 25, 2018 - Opened and let sit for two hours. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was blueberry, blackberry, some tobacco and mocha. Finish was moderate to long and smooth.
