May 28, 2021 - 1 hour upon opening serving into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Fruit” day): Medium lemon gold to the eyes.

Very much lemon and lime peels, very luxurious bouquet of popcorn, butterscotch and crayon-like.

Liquid stone and Very mellow texture on palate but superb length. Extra toasty notes on the finish.

    94-95 points.

Second round: Very much about rich and luxurious nose.

Third round: Again corn like sweetness on nose.

March 8, 2012 - Shama's Burgundy Rising ('North Road', St John Street, London): Lovely nose. A touch of cream and hazelnut. Mineral, quite broad but with good cut and length. Lovely. ****

November 13, 2010 - Deeply colored, yellow rim. Aromatically there are plenty of very ripe fruit aromas, hints of spices, touch of honey and butter... hints of mineral aromas. On the palate the wine is dry with high acidity, a very rich and oily midpalate, minimal phenolics, low to moderate alcohol. Very balanced wine, great length, superb intensity, very good complexity at this point in its evolution. Loads of finesse, a oily, powerful texture, good expression of place. The wine drank better the day after becoming incredibly rich and detailed. This is superb village level Meursault that has a touch of Pouilly Fuisse-like power in a minerally Meursault frame... try decanting it. Will have a long life though is a lot of fun right now!

December 10, 2009 - A nice white burg, showing many characteristics true to Meursault. I must say that the mid-palate was a bit lost on me from this bottle. When tasted before this wasn't the case. I have 1 bottle remaining and I'll drink it up within the next year.

(Arnaud Ente Meursault) Light medium yellow color; reticent nose, a little oak and lemon; tasty but tight yet on plate, with deep tart citrus, bitter lemon, minerality and good acidity; tart lemon medium finish
