    December 29, 2011 - Focused. Entirely coherent.

March 28, 2010 - on night 1 this wine was delicious, but mostly about black cherry fruit. not terribly complicated, but well made and tasty. The last glass (left out overnight, no stopper on the bottle) was incredible the next night, showing layers of flavor with leather and herbs and dark cherry fruit, something like menthol on the finish. classy, expressive, intense and well balanced wine. a true pleasure.

July 28, 2009 - Lighter red. Easy to pick as Brunello IMHO. Very tight nose with hints of oak. Light but tight flavours and nose. Great structure. Will show more in the future. More traditional then my Fanti.

July 21, 2009 - WineFanatic Sangiovese Offline (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – lightest in colour so far. Slightly muted nose but some floral and dark sweet fruits coming through. Palate was giving up more with flavours of cherries and earthy notes. Needs time. Very good. 90+

January 17, 2009 - Rather traditional. 90-92. Balanced, gorgeous nose. Not one of the super Tuscan high alcohol--actuallly 13.5% which is surprising--ripe concentrated grapes I'd guess. 2001. Hm...reminds me of Brunello from a decade earlier.
