March 11, 2012 - Wine has turned, I have had several Bottles and they are off.

January 26, 2008 - The description "barnyard" is spot on for this effort. I tend to like the earthy nose of an older wine, but the barnyard nose usually gives way over time to subtle fruit and layers of complexity. Unfortunately, the overpowering nose remained for the entire evening. I would not recommend this wine. Dume92

January 25, 2008 - From a promising start, with a bright crimson/violet hue in the glass, things plunged downhill quickly: stinky barnyard nose, jumbled flavors with no discernible profile, and a dusty finish. Only a refreshing dose of acidity helped with the food. Water Wheel Memsie, d'Arenberg's Stump Jump, Langhorne Crossing, and many Penfolds blends are much safer choices at this price point. Caveat Emptor. (4 views)
