October 6, 2020 - I probably let this wait too long. It has darkened and is fairly oxidized and undrinkable. The one I opened a couple of years back led me to believe these would last longer. So I have hope for my last bottle...

June 16, 2013 - Bottle had hints of oyster shell limestone, and mineral... followed by at first barely oxidative notes which quickly turned into a very oxidized bottle.

July 26, 2012 - Oh boy. Carpenter's delight. When I first opened this it was the most overoaked wine I have ever had. Undrinkable. Several hours into the evening the oak had pulled back a little and while this was more approachable none of my guests was drinking this. With more than half the bottle left, thankfully this was much better on the second night. The oak was more of a background to a nice round palate of white fruits at the forefront. Good balance and decent acidity which felt like it had lost some of its bite overnight.. Honestly, I felt like some high quality fruit was mishandled here and with proper use of oak this could have been truly spectacular. If the oak gets absorbed in the next five years this could turn out better, but somehow I doubt it. Not bad at closeout for $15, but I would be pissed had I paid full retail.

May 6, 2011 - Nice chardonnay, not at interesting as a Red Claw we had at the same time, but good sturdy wine that was pleasing, light oak, pleasant taste.

July 30, 2010 - Man, this wine is in the zone right now! Bright and fresh, call it a blend of old and new world chardonnay, nice and ripe, but not buttery or oaky, deep and fine. I really liked it. I think Josh Raynolds nailed this in his description.
