January 3, 2016 - This was pretty good- still amazing that this relatively inexpensive bottle is still drinking good. Cherry up front, a little dust, good acidic backbone.

June 28, 2011 - Decanted 1 hour, consumed over 1 1/2 hours. This gave off some nice earthy and dried fruit aromas as it was poured into the decanter, but then it seemed closed up for the rest of the evening. Muted cherry skin, wood, and peppery spice notes, all overwhelmed by the wine's lively acidic backbone. Chosen on short notice, we weren't able to give this a chance to show its best...oh well.
