    August 30, 2023 - Whoa - just getting started on this gem - rich and dense and thick at first pour w ready perfume upon glass staining first spin - rich heady stuff - chewy texture - aromas on the level with top flight Bdx - with roasted earth, graphite, and tobacco. Special stuff which at first glance easily covers the tariff.

    Breakfast glass after sitting out all night uncorked on table of AirBnb in Milan by design as catching flight out today showed no budge in strength of character.
    A keeper. For the cellar. Bravissimo.

    April 30, 2023 - We decanted it for 3 hours before drinking. The tannin was too strong at the beginning, but it became softer after decanting. It had warm spice notes on the nose and raisin and ripe fruit in the mouth.

    April 9, 2023 - Had with deer Wellington. Opened 2h before but no decant. Powerful nose, deep color. “Full” mouthfeel, well integrated tannins, gorgeous structure. Hints of course to amarone but a better match with the game as not as sweet. I’d think this is in its prime now. Bravo
