January 28, 2024 - Drinking really well. Elegant nose, flowers, lavender, cranberry, tobacco and a touch of vanilla. The palate is very delicate, cranberry, sour cherry, with soft tannins, subdued, beautifully integrated oak and a nice finish. Great balance and very Burgundian in style. Gave this four hours in the decanter and the wine was perfectly open when paired with stuffed peppers. 92-93

February 3, 2023 - Give this plenty of air or more years in the cellar. Quite earthy, red fruits, silky tannins. Good stuff!

October 10, 2022 - The fruit comes from the Grosse Lage ‘Im Sonnenschein’, biodynamically farmed vineyerd over limestone soils close to Siebeldingen at the foothills of the Haard range.
Crimson with dark pink rim. Offers top notes of earth and truffles and then a youthful array of savoury red berries. So caressing and elegant on its palate with silky tannins, arresting purity of cranberry and cherry fruit and a long, energizing finish.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 17, 2021 - Incredible example of the current greatness of German pinot noir and the potential for the future. Fruit is still very primary, responsibly ripe raspberry and cherry. Complexity is beginning to emerge with fresh mushroom and truned earth mingling with the fruit.
