December 26, 2020 - Such a treat! Bright mouthful of jammy fruit balanced by tannins. Improved when opened for 30 minutes to an hour. Lots of sediment.

January 3, 2019 - As much as I love Bea wines, this one wasn't totally floating my boat. Just seemed to be missing something. Not sure … ?

December 9, 2018 - Vinetasters: Brown Bag (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. From half-bottle. I wasn't a huge fan of the nose here, with it showing so much volatility and organic solvents and things like that. The palate, however, is phenomenal. It's the right amount of sweetness, showing intense raisin flavours, but also balanced by that crazy sagrantino tannin. Absolutely brilliant stuff.

December 9, 2018 - Nice sweet brambly raspberry strawberry. Good strawberry flavor. Quite good, although a bit simple on the finish.

October 13, 2018 - Had this with friends after a big steak dinner, with many red wines. Despite everyone being tired, we perked up when this was served. One of the comments was "magical." Not super sweet, it went really well with some cheese as a dessert.
