April 27, 2024 - Heute braucht er etwas um ansatzweise empfänglich zu werden, und dann ist die Flasche auch schon leer. Wohl keine gute Phase derzeit. 3y+ warten.

December 26, 2023 - A year later this shows more black fruits and the tannins are softer. Aromas of perfume, pepper, blackberry, bell pepper, and dark plum. Taste of Balsamic, blackberry, plum, salt, oak, cranberry, and a hint of cedar.

June 27, 2023 - This is really good.
Maturing red rim. Nose is excellent, cedar earth and dark fruit. Juicy in the mouth, acidity is refreshing, ready to go.
This is better than other cru bourgeois 2014s I have had recently such as Sénéjac. Won't last for ever though.

    February 3, 2023 - Classic Bordeaux, Sam's purchase
Waking up for more than 1 hour in bottle has improved significantly. Before that, I also thought this price and vintage wine was not worth waking up and maybe crocked.
Typical pepper and oak taste, typical black fruit aroma and a little floral fragrance, worth this price.

  • Jonnhy99 Likes this wine: 90 points

December 27, 2022 - A Medoc wine at the Keg with a little bit of sediment in the bottle. 45% Cab, 51% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot.

Plum and earthy aromas hit you right away then cherry and raspberries.

Taste of cherry, raspberry, oak, potting soil, cedar, cassis, and a hint of plum. Subtle fine-grain tannins with medium minus acidity.
