August 31, 2016 - Dry and tightly wound, this shows lots of potential. Red currants, raspberries, and plum aromas over notes of cedar and earth. The palate is vibrant, showing good mineral energy, ample acidity, and cinnamon spice on the long, grippy finish. A 2-hour decant and an overnight stay in the bottle weren't enough. Needs another 2-3 years.
