  August 22, 2015 - Still had a deep purple coloring when opened with a closed nose. After about 30 minutes the black fruits, currents, cassis and blackberry flavors blossomed. The tannins lurked underneath with a hint of vanilla providing lots of backbone. The alcohol content, 14.5% detracted, in my opinion, from the overall wine. I doubt this will improve much with more age!

  QPR totally respectable and would certainly buy again

  May 3, 2012 - Currents, black cherry, and crushed granite. Still could use some time in the cellar, as the tannins are not quite resolved, but still enjoyable to drink. Good acidity.
