  July 19, 2023 - Medium plus weight, with pronounced tannins. Rather Bordeaux-like on the relatively dry finish. Soft muted black fruit flavors. More time will soften the tannins, but the fruit will likely fade. Quandary.

  December 20, 2020 - For me, this still remains one of the best everyday true Napa cab/winery values out there. Nice and dry with good fruit. Not overly complex but dark fruit compliments some graphite and iron flavors. Never disappoints. Drank a half case of this in 2020 and wish I had more.

  January 13, 2019 - Oddly compared to other Keenan vintages I felt the 2013 fell a bit flat. I felt this for the regular Cabernet as well. Could be that it needs several more years of cellar time, but honestly I just was disappointed. It’s still a solid wine but not much difference between the reserve and the regular Cabernet.

  September 28, 2018 - Meh. Tasted three times using Coravin. Tannins a bit angular. Nose of leather, a little tobacco. No black fruits.
