Community Tasting Notes 3

March 16, 2019 - Hard to rate this wine. It is definitely not very well balanced, with high unpleasent acidity and some equally unpleasent sour fruit. BUT, the unusual nose and taste and the complexity of the wine is very high level. Long complex aftertaste. If you like unusual wines you have to try this and other casteluccio wines; they are not quite tuscany but close to and all their own. Still years ahead, this is a true wine-freak type of wine.
