June 8, 2020 - Interesting wine. Closer to the Saldo than Prisoner from my perspective. Medium-plus weight, mixed sweet fruits noticeable in mid-palate, easy finish and overall enjoyable with or without food.

March 4, 2018 - Medium body, color beginning to weaken at the rim. I liked it better than The Prisoner, which I also like. The price is 10% lower for this one, so I think I would rather pay less for a very comparable wine. Drink soon though. Or try a newer vintage if you plan to cellar this for more than a year.

December 18, 2017 - Really good. The blend varietals cut the zinniness just enough. Nice mix of fruit, spice and structure.

February 11, 2017 - This is a Zinfandel blend that contains Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carignan. This was deeply colored and opaque. Dark berries dominate on the nose and palate. Cassis or currants are also present in the mix. With its ripe flavors, this is a fun, friendly, fruit-forward wine not to be taken too seriously. Could be a crowd pleaser.
