March 31, 2021 - Lost sugar, flavour was incredible, big and rich, should have been drunk last year.

October 23, 2016 - I really loved this bottle compared with the first one I had a while back. I think it's because it was a bit warmer and it paired with braised short ribs phenomenally. This one pinched way above its price point. The wine has high acidity. It smells like blackberry, cedar, black currant (cassis) and alcohol/hot. The body is full. The wine finishes long. It tastes like alcohol/hot, clove and cherry. The wine looks purple coloured. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine has round texture, fine peppery tannins.

October 19, 2016 - Subtle nose, almost nothing there. Maybe some wet stick. Gentle round entry, nice fruit. Somewhat abrupt mid-palette which transitions quickly into fine peppery lingering tannins. Decent acid as well. It really just lacks that mid-palette to make it a really nice wine. But for 25 bucks, a pretty good BC merlot that has the acid and tannins to stand up to red meat and fatty cheese.
