Community Tasting Notes 10

May 29, 2019 - Really well balanced with lots of fruit (black cherry, black berry, cassis, blueberry) and some tobacco, oak, and spice. Long finish with some dried fig and spice aspects. Big bodied with strong tannins. Moderate alcohol influence. Will keep for at least several more years, but is great now.

June 1, 2018 - Wow. Phenomenal. Full of fruit (mostly red but also blue) with soft tannins. Some leather and bits of oak also. Nice long finish.

September 29, 2017 - I am sorry to say I crushed this bottle before reserving some for a proper tasting note. This will have to do: really well integrated fruit and oak with a silky tannin backbone. Big bodied but smooth, and very nuanced. My casual rating would be 92-95. Really a good effort here.

July 6, 2017 - A mix of 58% CS, 28% Merlot, 9% Syrah and 5% Malbec. Crushed rocks, savoury herbs, sweet cassis and blackberry fruits on the nose. Palate is smooth and well balanced, similar fruits as the nose plus some vanilla. Finishes with good length. Nice wine.
