January 26, 2024 - First time trying the old Maison Clos Vougeot. Classic aged Burg. It still had good fruit and freshness with darkish red fruit, earth, sous bois and leather. 91+

On the palate the fruit still shows well for its age, and surrounded with plenty of earth and game. Nice finish, and held up through a second glass (and then it was gone - so not sure how long it would have held). Great showing. A
