April 26, 2024 - Probably already peaked. Soft mature but not vibrant. Not enough of fruit to meet up with the oak. Not bad.

May 28, 2023 - Deep purple colour, some smoke and vanilla. As it opened out more blackcurrant and blackberries. Good acidity.

February 17, 2023 - Deep purple colour. Bouquet was smoky and damp earth. Flavours dominated by licorice, smoke, tar with vanilla (oak). Body was moderate and finish doesn’t linger. Very nice bottle.
