  May 14, 2022 - Wife picked this up for a song at a tasting of old and age-worthy wines while I was out of town, and am I ever glad she did. Decanted to remove sediment. Lots of spice on the nose, also cigar box and bacon fat. Palate is similar, with cloves, allspice, baking chocolate, tobacco, some undergrowth, and a bit of leather. Finishes medium to long, and still so balanced. It’s hitting all the notes I like about older wine, and is definitely in “drink now” territory.

  November 8, 2019 - Over the top? For uerfaren til å påstå det - men kan fremstå slik?
  Brunskjær i kantene. Vanilje. N kjenner nysaget trær. Flis. N kjenner pepper. Rundt i smaken, og ingen "motstand". B sier "enkel" og "ukomplisert", men kanskje for "enkel"?
  B - nesten litt "vassen" mot slutten - som gjør at jeg vurderer den til å være over the top.

  March 3, 2019 - Delicious wine. Well balanced good fruit fresh some subtle creamy vanilla notes. Just lovely uncomplicated Rioja and VGV
