June 29, 2020 - A blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and others varietals sourced from the Quinta de Nápoles and Vale do Pinhão vineyards. Fermented in stainless steel vats, malolactic fermentation and aging for 18 to 20 months in small French oak barrels. Only 12.5% ABV.
Medium ruby colour. Lovely red fruit notes, some dark berry notes, some chocolate, spices and well-integrated oak, all built around a mineral core, with lively acidity, ultra-fine tannin, a creamy texture and very good length. Dry (not drying) finish. Good concentration. Medium-bodied, balanced and quite elegant. Very pretty! Still young. Second bottle of twelve, next in two years. -

November 21, 2019 - dark color. Some orange hue. Red cherry nose. Some blueberries. Surprise is on the palate. Same red cherries notes but with a nice tension. Tannins and acidity in balance. Some savoury stony notes. Finesse. Great balance. Medium to long. Has a long future. Drank better the second day
