In any case, great minerality and moderate acidity. Bright citrus and lemon curd. Some lychee undertones. But not as much depth or layers that I’ve come to expect from Chateau.

August 4, 2020 - Straw colored, aging obvious, clear and bright; Tropical fruits, green apple and other white fruits but a little jumbled, some funky wood notes with graphite hints, aging and some oxidation (fill level was good); medium body with decent richness, a little flabby as acidity wasn't ideal; off balance toward the richness and mouthfeel side; mildly cooked fruit finish that faded out. Disappointing against expectations.
