February 2, 2018 - Peppery, prune, blackberry, cedar bark, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, liquorice aromas. I found it over intoxicating - but could not stop smelling.
Fresh, round, juicy, slightly lean entry with light tannins. I feel this one will not cellar longer.
More tobacco, resin, liquorice, cassis flavours with blackberry, coffee grinds, prune & olive notes all with a touch of dill and leather.
Somewhat warm, chunky, chocolaty cedar finish but should be fine with lamb stew...? -
