  January 13, 2023 - Very impressive. Had low expectations for this wine, given its age. Was even avoiding drinking it because of that. I needn't have worried. Wonderfully balance with a nice bracing acidity playing off soft but bold fruit. Though 30 years old, and perhaps at its prime, there is no real hurry to consume. One of my top pleasant surprises of what I thought would be an over-the-hill wine.

  March 5, 2021 - Delightful! Popped and let sit for an hour. Vibrant fruit, fully integrated, medium smooth finish. Vintage Silver Oak.

  July 18, 2020 - Pop and pour and initially pleasant taste and good finish. Tended to develop an over ripeness and not finish well. Last btl.

  November 14, 2019 - Decanted for 45 min and could have gone another hour. Initial palate feel was light and then over. Developed over time and then should some strength, smokiness and rustic berries characteristics. Quite nice but needs a beef course.
