June 25, 2017 - Bottle was 650ml as opposed to the now-standard 750ml. In the glass, the color was auburn-hued, almost tawny looking. The port itself was unbelievably fresh-tasting, with a superb smooth mouth feel. I could have guzzled the stuff. It is staggering to think that the grapes for this port had been harvested 93 years ago. An incredible drink.

October 3, 2015 - 2015 Port Harvest Tour; 9/26/2015-10/3/2015 (Portugal): Vegetative green notes on the nose. Unctuous toffee and buttery caramel with some orange peel notes. Great unctuous mouthfeel with great acidity and a nice long finish.

March 26, 2012 - Interesting nose of chinese tea, ginseng and wet leaves and wood. Distinctly different on the palate, with tea leaves, tobacco, bitter chocolate and ginseng, and chinese herbal turtle jelly.
