December 25, 2023 - From 750ml. First of my 2012’s here. 3/2016 disgorgement. Pale orange-pink color. I wouldn’t think about this as a rose champagne. It is rather severe to start with faint strawberry and red cassis notes. Very high acid and firm structure. This needs food. This is very young and really needs much more time to improve. Don’t drink this for at least 5 years. NB: We are drinking this from the Darsonville champagne glass but I am also comparing it with my Baccarat Perfection simple straight side flute. The Darsonville does pitch towards the higher tone flavors like citrus and bitter which makes it a great glass for older champagnes with heavy brioche and lees but it accentuates the youth of this CR. Overall I still think (so far) that the Darsonville is an excellent glass, but sadly I have already managed to break one after only 6 bottles of champagne. Oh well. First world problems.

November 23, 2023 - Absolutely beautiful Champagne. Really want more.

Faint cherry and minerals on the palate. Long lingering finish. This ws the best drinking bottle of the 3 I had.

The wine looks light gold colored. It smells like mineral, cherry, almond and biscuity.

August 10, 2021 - Alongside the '12 Courtin Allegiance (rose) amongst other things. Consistent with my last bottle from almost three years ago. Pale salmon in color, I would still say relatively delicate, salty, and mineral driven, especially compared to the Courtin, but on its own, may come across as more robust. Approachable now, but plenty of life, and will benefit from some more time.

December 24, 2020 - Disgorged March 2016. I think one of the biggest reasons why I like Bereche so much is that his wines are always beautifully balanced. Lovely tension with a good amount of fruit, strawberries mainly. Just wished I had more time to go over this. This is delicious but still drinking very youthfully, unfortunately my only bottle but I’d hold off on my 2013 for a little longer.

December 22, 2018 - Pale salmon in color. Delicate, subtle, and still quite young. Will be curious to see if and how this develops with some age. Good.
