October 3, 2022 - PnP. Not as deeply yellow as the bottle from my last note--pretty gold as consistent with Cali Chard typicity. Again, pineapple upside-down cake, with light honey. Pleasant mouthfeel with some glycerin and just a little weightiness, with nice acidity--a note of tart Granny Smith apples and creamy lemon custard. More pineapple on the finish. Drinking well.

September 1, 2022 - My last bottle, just as the previous, starting to show its age. Darker yellow color, but not sherried. Aromas of apple, pear, melon, spice and slight oak. Still has lots of flavors with apple and pear, followed by melon and spice in the medium finish. Would drink up in the next year or so.

August 30, 2022 - PnP. Consistent with my last note, this bottle too is significantly darker than the bottle I had in May and even (from memory) a deeper gold than the bottle I had at the beginning of the month--so much so that upon pouring, I wondered if it had oxidized a bit. Cork was perfect, and it's been in a natural cave cellar that fluctuations from 52-65 annually. An initial nosing and tasting put any questions of oxidation to rest. Opened at room temperature (not cellar temperature). Less pineapple this time and more like pineapple upside-down cake, with some honey and caramelized sugar. Palate and back end exactly like last time, with nice acidity. This bottle, at least, has definitely improved from the pervious two.

August 10, 2022 - PnP. Bright gold color; darker and more vibrant than I wrote on my 5/20/22 note. Like that time, it takes some coaxing for the nose to open up: initially the same very slightly buttered toast. With time and air, some pineapple, not lemons per se but rather lemon yogurt. Zingy acidity, consistent with my previous note. Not heavy, but some light viscosity. Very drinkable, and good, but on the whole, not quite as fruity as the last time, even after ~30 mins.

July 25, 2022 - PnP. Starting to show its age with a darker yellow color. Apple, pear, melon, spice and slight oak presence on the nose. Similar flavors with the apple and pear up front. Followed by melon and spice in the medium finish. Starting to dry out, drink up.
