January 23, 2024 - This wine manifests, a deep wine, color with a pleasant, rich notes of dark fruit on the nose. On the pallet, there are notes of black cherry, blackberry, and just a hint of licorice. This wine has a pleasant lingering finish. At its age of 9–10 years, it was a perfect pairing to a steak dinner. 93 points.

December 24, 2023 - Enjoyable, but so much heat. There was good fruit in the profile, but drowning in alcohol. The 16% ABV had to top 17%. Admittedly, I would have tolerated this better as a younger man, but overbearing for a guy 60+.

There’s a good balance of acididty and tannin, but there isn’t a lot of either. Enjoyable and crowd-pleasing. Would be great at a holiday party. This wine seems like it’s in its prime window, but I don’t think there’s a hurry. Drink or hold for a few more years.

July 1, 2023 - Rich and complex with good (not great) tannin structure. No need to wait. Overall this is a great wine, but it's a fruit-heavy style that might not be my favorite.
