April 27, 2020 - Interesting wine. Very different than a Barbera from Piemonte. Dark garnet, almost more purple than garnet. Huge nose, tart cherries and spice. The palate had lots of acidity, tart red and dark fruit, spice, some smokiness. Long finish. A bit of a bruiser for a Barbera.
