  September 29, 2019 - Well crafted wine with a distinct sense of Red Mountain terroir - a gentle, rounded sweetness underneath the Cabernet fruit. Still some tannin showing but this is coming nicely into its window.

  January 23, 2019 - 90 is the bottom end of "excellent" on your rating scale.
  Seemed more to us like a 8 yr old St Emilion Bordeaux (muscular Merlot), but thought for $24.99 at Costco, it was excellent for the price and approachable now. Oak was restrained, as were tannins, but it had enough musculature - in between medium bodied and hearty - to pair nicely with grilled sirloin. We tend to shop around and try many different wines...this would not be at the top of our list, but we'd be fine with it any day.

  January 6, 2019 - Still quite austere. Beaucoup tannins and not showing much fruit. Probably would show better in a few years, but I think I will use my limited cellar space for something more interesting.
