February 27, 2022 - Dark, opaque wine. Dense with dark fruit and earthy notes. Not yielding much and I don’t get the sense it’s holding it in reserve.

October 8, 2021 - Picked this up from TCWC for $25. Earthy, dark fruit, fine but abundant tannins. It’ll age for a long time, but the fruit is nearly gone. It will taste like a mouthful of liquid compost in 10 years…but it will be smooth liquid compost.
Worth $25 and fun to drink V Madrone for potentially the last time… -

March 31, 2018 - Wonderful representation of petit Syrah. Great dark fruit and a bit earthy with gripping tannins. The tannins will soften in a few years but I doubt if I can wait that long with my second bottle.
