September 21, 2017 - Screwcap. Torn front label. Badly torn back label. Nose of blackberry jam, with hints of leather and sour cream. Palate seems like it's past its prime. There's a thickness to the mouthfeel, but no structure; fruit and tannins have faded, while the acidity seems a little sharp. Flavours of blackberry, prune, and cranberry, with background notes of charred oak and dried mushroom.

January 11, 2009 - Not sure if I was able to smell the foxes but ... very nice Pinot. Ruby red, getting some brick hue on the rim, medium intensity aromas of red fruit, earthy, new leather, spice. Light/medium body, high acidity, low tannins, crisp mouth feel. Pretty balanced for high acidic Pinot. Medium fruit finish. Nice Old World Pinot from New World.

March 23, 2008 - Simple, decent fruit forward pinot.

April 25, 2007 - Fantasic southern Pinot. Lots of full flavours. None of this thin plum fruit you tend to see of late from that region.

June 28, 2006 - On the nose, cherry, idodine and oak. On the palate, thin to medium-bodied with very tart cherries, black cherries and a bit of earthiness. Short finish.
