  October 21, 2021 - Final bottle of this 1/2 case. Overall, this has been a very inconsistent wine. This one is very slightly corked like a prior btl but drinkable. What seems most prominent tonight is the EtOH heat on the back end. It tastes rather stripped down, astringent, and mean. Not a good showing on the final btl. Overall, given all the other far better aglianico wines in the box, I would not look to rebuy this one.

  August 8, 2020 - Been a while since I checked in with this. Still working on a 1/2 case. By far the best bottle of this so far and currently very much in the zone. Very typical aglianco flavor profile. Graphite, tar, very masculine, but relatively light on its feet. Nice bitter chocolate and stewed prunes on the back end.
