  October 20, 2017 - Tasted this at one of our favorite local retailers, and decided to bring a bottle home. Thought it had some varietal credibility at the store, but not so sure with a full bottle to taste from in a decent glass. At home I get enough residual sugar to spoil the experience. To their credit, there is some mocha, graphite and green garden Merlot style flavors. Lingering oak, dark cherry, minerals and road tar flavors. Fruity mid palate and finish. Wish they could have done without the RS.

  October 15, 2017 - A nose of some dark fruits and spices, garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, plum, chocolate and spices on finish, easy drinking. www.winelx.com

  October 8, 2017 - A nice raspberry jam and cinnamon combination but simple overall. Maybe a bit over ripe. Ruby color but not inky. A deal at $6 (I got it on closeout).

  May 13, 2017 - Solid merlot, varietally correct, if not overwhelmingly big in the nose or mouth. Nice hint of cocoa on the finish.
